MiQuando.com is the next generation of local online directory - a bit like your other basic directories on steroids. It's a place where people Search for and Find local businesses, but then can also Book Appointments Online with them and leave valuable, independent feedback via Ratings and Reviews for any business.

Q. Does it cost
anything to register on MiQuando.com?
A. No, registration is totally free for both business and end user registrations and we will not ask for any form of payment information when you register.
Q. How
does a free account work?
A. No Credit card or payment is required for the free account and you can upgrade to other membership plans whenever you are ready.
Q. Can I upgrade/downgrade
my plan at any time?
A. Absolutely. MiQuando allows you to move between membership levels so you can be sure you are on the membership level that suits your needs.
Q. If a customer makes a
booking online with a business via MiQuando.com does the customer have to
pay?
A. No. There are no charges to customers for using MiQuando.com at any time.
Q. If you’re going to help my business, how can it be 100%
free?
A. There are no charges at all for the standard features on MiQuando.com, however if a business wants to take advantage of the advanced features, such as Online Booking, Advertising and Marketing, then charges may apply.
Q. Why should I register as a Customer at
MiQuando.com?
A. We aim to establish MiQuando.com as the best place for you to go to find local businesses, tradesman, products and services. A place where not only can you quickly and easily find what you are looking for, but somewhere you can actually go that extra step and book an appointment e.g. with your hairdresser, or to get your central heating boiler serviced, or get a quote for some decorating. The possibilities are endless.
A. If you just want to search the directory and find local businesses then you don’t actually need to register.
Depending on how each business has set up it's booking service you may need to be signed in to complete your booking request . If you are not signed in you will either be prompted to sign in with your MiQuando™ or Facebook credentials or alternatively provide a Name, Email Address and Contact Number at the time of Booking.

Q. Why should I register my business/organisation on
MiQuando.com?
A. MiQuando.com is all about connecting local people with local businesses. Unlike other directories we use what we call keyword searching. Keyword searching is more intuitive, which makes it easier for people to find your business.
Q. What’s included in my free directory
entry ?
A. When you register with MiQuando® you can include not just your address and phone numbers,
but also links to your email address, web site, and social media
pages. On top of that, you can add short and long
descriptions, logos and pictures, opening times, your
location and of course the keywords that help people find your business
more easily.
We are committed to work hard to drive visitors to
MiQuando.com, which means customers will be able to find your business more
easily.
Q. How do I register my
business?
A. Simply go to www.miquando.com and click on the button in
the top right of the screen that says ‘Register Business’ .
Follow the simple on-screen instructions and click the button that says
‘Register Free’. You will then receive an email from support@miquando.com
asking you to activate your account. Click the link in this
email (or copy and paste it into your browser window and follow the on screen
instructions to complete your registration.
Q. How long does it take to setup my business?
Q. Do I need to install any special software or hardware to use MiQuando®?
A. No, everything is hosted and managed by us. All you need is a an Internet connected device and a web browser.
Q. Can I update my details at any time?
A. Yes, you have complete control of your details and can update them at any time of day or night, from wherever you are in the world providing you have access to the internet.
Q. Do I have to commit to an annual contract?
A. Definitely not. No matter what MiQuando® services you choose to use, there are no long term contracts or commitments. For example, you can choose to advertise for just 1 week if that's what you want.
Q. Can I use the online diary and calendar
without accepting online bookings?
A. Absolutely,
the basic account lets you use the online diary and calendar system and is 100%
FREE. This is a great opportunity to get rid of that
old appointments book and have access to all your appointments at any time of day
or night wherever you are in the world.
Q. What do I need to do to setup my
business on MiQuando.com in order to take online bookings from my
customers?
A. The quickest and easiest way is to visit our Online Booking help pages , where you can find instructions and links to video tutorials.
Q. Can I approve a booking request before it's
confirmed to the customer?

Q. How much does it cost to use Online
Booking?
There is a £1.00* fee for each booking whena customer makes that booking online themselves, however, if you have chosen an enhanced membership level then you will qualify to receive a number of customer bookings free of charge (Silver - 5, Gold - 10, Platinum 20).
* For accommodation bookings, each night is classed as a seperate booking e.g. 7 night booking incures a £7.00 fee

MiQuando.com?
A. Our advertising model is the only place
you can advertise online, knowing that your advert is going to be seen by just
the right people at just the right time. Simply put, we
guarantee to show your advert to people that are searching for, and looking to
buy products and services from local companies just like yours.
Q. How do you show adverts to ‘just the
right people at the right time’?
A. Well that’s our trade secret, so we

Q. How do I advertise on
MiQuando.com?
A. Once your business is registered and
approved, it’s really easy to advertise on MiQuando.com.
Simply sign-in and click on the Marketing
menu. Our self-service advertising service is very easy to
use, just choose your dates and upload images with optional links to your
website or any other .
Q. How come you’re ads cost up to 90% less
than competing online directories?
A. We don’t like to compare ourselves to other online directory businesses as we offer so much more, but simple put we don’t understand why some other directories are so expensive either.

Q. Is my information safe and secure?
A. Yes customer and business account details are always stored encrypted.
Q. Do you share my data?
A. Only when you Book Online with a business they will be able to see the contact details, Name, Email and Phone No that you have provided.
Please Note: If you have changed your account settings and indicated that you would like to be contacted by certain businesses then they can potentially send you emails and sms messages
Q. Do you use tracking cookies to advertise to me?
A. No we don't. We do use some cookies to help enhance your online experience (e.g. identifying when you are signed in), but never to track your behaviour or target you with ads. You can choose whether you accept our cookies or not when you see the Cookie bar on our site (shown below) and you can review our Cookies by clicking here .
Q. Where is my data stored?
A. All data is stored in the Isle of Man where we operate multiple servers that are hosted in highly secure purpose built data centres.
