Overiew of Online Booking

The Online Booking Service has been designed with maximum flexibility to enable as many businesses as possible to open their virtual doors 24 hours a day.  Click here to watch our short video "Getting Started with Online Booking".

*Note:  If you have selected just the 'Simple' Membership level, you can setup Online Booking services, but it can only be used for your own internal staff.  You will need to upgrade your membership to at least 'Standard' (still Free) or higher and be approved by a member of the MiQuando™ team.

For everything bookable online with MiQuando™ we have two elements

To provide the ultimate in flexibility we 'marry' the two together to ensure things like skills or specialist equipment can be accommodated.  A simple example might be two staff (Resources) at a hair salon, Jenny the experienced stylist and Andrew the junior stylist.  A Cut and Blow Dry (Service) can be performed by both Jenny and Andrew, but a more complex service e.g. Hair Colouring might only be performed by Jenny.

So you need to create both Services and Resources and match them up to set yourself up to use Online Booking services.

The next element in setting up your Online Booking facility is to customise your Online Booking settings which allows you to configure how you deal with Booking Requests (manually or automatically accept bookings) and how you want to communicate with your customers e.g. whether you Email and/or SMS confirmations and reminders.

The final and very important step is to ensure that you have your Terms & Conditions setup.  In the first instance we provide a template prepared by our legal team that you can modify and use or you can cut and paste your own T&Cs to use.
