and Uppercase | 10 Hours | |
and Numbers & Symbols | 18 Days
Seven (7) | Lowercase only | 4 Hours |
and Uppercase | 23 Days | |
and Numbers & Symbols | 4 Years
Eight (8) | Lowercase only | 4 Days |
and Uppercase | 3 Years | |
and Numbers & Symbols | 463 Years
Nine (9) | Lowercase only | 4 Months |

Your password should be:
At least 6 characters
A combination of the following: uppercase or lower case letters (A-Z or a-z), numbers (0-9) and special characters (?_!@#) (example: Beatlesfan#28, $uperman1963)
You don't use passwords that:
Use the word 'password' e.g. Password123
Are similar to your registered email address
Are common passwords or passwords with number or letter sequences (e.g. 12345678 or abc123 or letmein or qwerty)
Consist of single words that can be found in a dictionary (e.g. bananas)
Don't use personal information that others can easily obtain or guess such as your name, phone no. or date of birth.
The more characters and more complex your password is, the harder it is for anyone to guess. Place numbers, punctuation and special characters randomly in your password.
Create a password that's secure, but still easy for you to remember. To help you remember your password, consider using a phrase or song title as your password. For example, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" can become "Sw0tR8nBo."
After creating your password, protect it. Don't share your password with others.
Don't use the same password for your other online accounts, such as email, bank, and social networking accounts.
