the only thing missing was the coffee, we were not offered any! Also it would be nice to be offered a choice of a few more sweets!!! otherwise it was very, very good standards of food. Many thanks PS I am just about to make a booking to visit on Sunday for lunch
Sunday Lunch to be enjoyed
As well as a good Sunday lunch, the staff were very attentive and the surroundings relaxing. A great choice of starters to help yourself to, a smaller main course carvery selection but very tasty and just a couple of desserts which I believe were good, although I didn't have room for 3 courses. Finishing with coffee in the lounge area was a nice end to a very enjoyable Sunday lunch.
Sunday lunch was great at the Empress
This is a perfect place to have Sunday lunch with friends on the island . The beef was wonderful and starters and puddings delicious , service was friendly and attentive .a lovely sea view is a bonus

Good Sunday Cavery with great views over Douglas bay
Really enjoyed our 1st Sunday Carvery at the Empress, not the biggest carvery but all well cooked and very enjoyable, we will be back.
Empress Sunday Lunch
We chose a beef and turkey Sunday lunch with an Eton mess and a plum and blueberry crumble with custard, both courses were amazing, the meat was cooked perfect and the portion size and presentation exceptional, the desserts were to die for, extremely satisfying. Customer service was perfect, would definitely recommend Sunday Lunch here, best place on the Island.
A fantastic family Sunday lunch
We had family over for weekend and wanted to bring them somewhere nice for Sunday lunch. What a find at the Empress - we had a wonderful sea view table with excellent service and great quality food. We will definitely be back! Will recommend to friends.
